A little bit of work to install the camera in the garage however it is doable.

As for pricing, AT the time of my purchase,I looked this up on line $199 without the door sensor. The door sensor was an additional $40. This package includes the door sensor for $179.95, easy pay and free shipping! I would recommend this product, we enjoy having peace of mind if we think we forgot to close the garage door we can check on it no matter where we are. I love this product! I can view, control and receive notifications anywhere, any place and anytime. The camera can be viewed and controlled by as many family members and friends without limitations. The system is really easy to install. I love that I can open and close the garage door and also turn on/off the LEDs for night view. Also the night view is very apparent and I can see my garage doors and cars clearly at night. This product is retrofit to my existing garage door opener and it was just plug and play!

I had no problem and spent less than two hours on the install and set up.My install was done only four days ago and I am still evaluating its operation and reliability; so far, not so good. I'm using the Ethernet connection for the main unit to insure a positive network connection. The camera unit shows "4 bars" for connection strength, and the camera unit is mounted on the garage back wall about six feet above the floor. Picture quality is very good both day and night. The door sensor is mounted on the door as shown in the instruction sheet.The cellphone app was also a "no brainer" and initial testing was good.
Next day I experienced missed notifications for door opened/closed... still happens maybe 1 in 10 times. I'm not happy with only 90% reliability. Still considered "in evaluation" and I'm not yet ready to "pull the plug." Really this item is overpriced. The camera has a fuzzy picture and not much range. It does open and close the garage door using your cell phone but that's as much good as I can say about this product. I would give it 2 stars only because of its ability to open the garage door remotely. We really wanted this work, but it wouldn't even sync. My husband is a tech and knows his stuff, and we've never had an issue getting anything to work, but we tried at least 10 times to get this up and running, so to our disappointment, this had to go back. We had already registered it and kept getting messages, even after we sent it back, that their system was down. We checked another site to see what people were saying, and they called it a piece of junk. We had only paid one flex payment and sent it back for our refund, so we're not out of any money.
Back to the drawing board.We have AT&T here and it works everything without issue, wi-fi or router. I'm married to a tech, so it's not us. This would not sync at all. Tried 10 times and my husband said, "nope, send it back". We had trouble getting the return label online, so HSN had to mail it to us. We received the label today, and this goes back on Monday.
