We are introducing Hank’s Garage, which will feature local folks and their classic cars, beginning in late March.

We will also cover this summer’s classic car events and maybe in late fall add a project or two. I hope you will enjoy them. or check him out on facebook at Lines By Design Pinstriping. Updates Edsel Electric CarJeff and his wife Tammy operate Jeff's Toy Box in Lebanon PA. just outside of Hershey. Jeff is known all over the world for his award winning vintage toy restorations. He is an unbelievable talent. While we intend on doing a larger feature on the 1958 Edsel Youngstar electric car we wanted to give you a sneak peak. You can email Jeff at jeffstoybox@comcast.net. PROJECT UPDATE 1967 PONTIAC FIREBIRD PROJECT UPDATE 1967 FIREBIRD 1957 EDSEL ELECTRIC CHILD's CAR President: Franklin D. Roosevelt 71 acre farm with 6 room house, electricity and bath in Mansfield, Ohio sold for $4,200 Gallon of gas: $.10 We are hoping to be done soon and to have her on Ebay for sale before November ends. We can't thank Tim Musselman enough for his tireless efforts with the power top.

After sitting for 37 years, the top has been a pain in the .... trunk. Dirty Bird soon will leave the nest; watch for her on Ebay soon. Our project Dirty Bird got a new pair of $740 shoes. The BFGoodrich Silvertown bias-ply tires are made from the original molds, and yes, those are the correct wide whitewalls. The bird has been scrubbed and rubbed. We removed several mice nests and yes, one very flat dead mouse… The original leather has cleaned up very nicely, thank you, and Hank covered the trunk and interior floor pans with Dynamat. The Car Guys hosed down the rust-free undercarraige and undercoated it with a light, flat, black undercoating… The bird is very solid, the paint now wears a shine, and Mike did a great job polishing the chrome and stainless. We had to order a lot of mechanical parts from our local NAPA store, Fisher Auto Parts, and a new power top pump from a vintage parts supplier in Carson City, Nevada. Stay tuned as our project continues and we look forward to the day this bird can fly the coupe.…

Ron bought the car back in 1977 and only a year ago finished a complete body-off restoration. The ’67 SS 427 was selected at this year’s Goodguys national meet in Columbus as one of the 17 finalists for national muscle car of the year… (Here is their 1936 Ford at the Marion Coliseum in 1963…) Charlie (bottom row, second from right, 1963) always had a story to tell, and I never tired of hearing them. Charlie was a great guy who could talk everything, from jukeboxes to carburators, and regardless of your age or lifestyle, Charlie was your buddy. My kids loved him, my wife and I enjoyed talking to him, and he had many friends. Charlie recently appeared on an episode of the TV show American Pickers. I hope those guys knew what a great guy they had met. I love the car hobby mostly for all its characters, and I certainly won’t forget this one. Then on the tailgate, you will notice Libby’s twin brother Grant and Cash’s little brother Grady as the proprietors of this truck.
