When you join our Paws Forward Legacy Program we will acknowledge your planned gift and provide you with opportunities to learn more about the shelter.




Your planned gift is a bequest through your will or living trust. You can arrange a gift of a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or even all or part of the residuary of your estate. The resale store gladly accepts high-quality donations. We are a mostly volunteer organization with limited ability to store, clean, mend or repair items. We feature designer and high-quality clothing, shoes and accessories, quality households and furniture, collectibles and first-rate books.




Your consideration in the quality of items you donate is appreciated. We do not accept the following items: printers or similar accessories, plastic drawers or crates (except clean storage bins), stained, torn out-dated clothes (vintage clothes gladly accepted), stained, torn, worn or broken furniture unless vintage or antique, worn, torn or jacketless books (collectible or first edition books are welcome), older linens, sheets, blankets or towels (some of these items may be appropriate for shelter use), common household items such as plastic storage containers, chipped or stained cookware or crockery, unclean or broken kitchen appliances, personal items such as foot massagers or pillows, any appliances with filters, such as air conditioners, humidifiers or air filters, children’s clothes or toys, toiletries unless brand new and unopened Help us spread the word!
