Full Stack Developer
Skills:
The ideal candidate is a highly technical full-stack developer with back-end/front-end experience (orientation towards one is acceptable):
- 5+ years of software development using Javascript;
- Experience with Node.js and working with DB (MongoDB or MySql);
- Experience with Angular/React (or any other front-end platform);
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3 (and a CSS pre-processor of choice);
- Experience with unit testing and tools like Jasmine, jest;
- Experience with REST APIs and the concepts of RESTful architecture;
- Experience with modern software development tools and best practices (IDEs, distributed version control, build and continuous integration tools);
- Experience with AWS.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with Linux environment;
- Quick learner, independent, methodical, detail-oriented, team player;
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience testing code on cross platforms and browsers;
- Dedicated, makes things happen, able to drive functionality end to end;
- Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java, Ruby, C++.

The responsibilities of this capable and experienced web developer include the design and development of new features to our website and applications:
- Designing user interactions on web pages;
- Creating servers and databases for functionality;
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones;
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications;
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features;
- Designing and developing APIs;
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
About the project:
EyeControl is a Tel Aviv-based medical device start-up, developing an assistive technology for Locked-in individuals and ventilated ICU patients (like Stephen Hawking), which enables communication using only intuitive eye movements.
