East Texas Medical Center Tyler serves as the flagship facility for our organization and is the largest medical referral center in all of East Texas. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, ETMC Tyler provides advanced medical services from diagnosis through rehabilitation.ETMC Tyler can trace its origins to 1949 when a visionary group of leaders began dreaming of developing Tyler as a healthcare center. That same year, Smith County residents approved a $1 million bond issue for the new hospital, while a significant federal grant provided other funds to construct the facility, at that time known as Medical Center Hospital.The 110-bed, not-for-profit hospital began operations in September 1951 and boasted an ultra-modern design with five floors and a complete range of services for the time. Over the decades, the facility received numerous significant enhancements and expansions to meet the growing demand for Tyler area health care.New alliances with hospitals throughout East Texas culminated in a new name for the hospital in 1990 — East Texas Medical Center Tyler —and the parent company — the East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System.ETMC Tyler is a 464-bed hospital, working with area ETMC and other hospitals to provide specialized treatment and diagnostic procedures and to ensure continuity of care for patients who return to their community for recovery and follow-up care.

These are comfortable quarters with a fully furnished kitchen, a living room with queen pull out sofa bed, a private bedroom with a queen size bed, and a full bathroom. Three of our six cabins also have lofts for additional sleeping or storage space. All of our cabins are within walking distance of the lake and club pool. Just bring your fishing pole, boat and/or water toys for a week or weekend of outdoor family entertainment! We have board games available to check out in the office, and there are horseshoes near the pool area to play. Picnic tables and grills scatter the property for fun lakeside dining!
Cabins are available to rent for a weekend, week or an entire month. What a great way to experience “lake house” amenities without the maintenance and taxes! Cabins come equipped with: Guests are responsible for bringing personal items and food. Please note that the cabins do not have televisions or WiFi. *Cancellations received at least 21 days prior to first date of reservation will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations made less than 21 days prior to first date of reservation will forfeit any monies paid to LTPC. LTPC is not responsible for lost items. Found items will be kept for 14 days, then donated to charity. For a special wedding night treat, we will turn one of our cabins into the ultimate Honeymoon Suite! Each cabin has a full kitchen equipped with appliances, dishes, and silverware, living room, private bedroom with a queen size bed, and a full bathroom. Our staff will decorate the bedroom with rose petals, flameless candles, and Mr. & Mrs. Pillows. We also provide a bottle of Champagne with toasting glasses, strawberries, and chocolates to enjoy. For breakfast, we have stocked the cabin with pastries, orange juice, and gourmet coffee grounds. The bathroom will be stocked with body wash & body lotion for your convenience.
