REBASE AND NOMICS MANIA

Have you heard about projects which contracts deploy rebase function?

I'm sure you have got an idea about rebase, coz that became mainstream with the rise of meme/shitcoins.

The every first project with such function was Flokinomics and then other "nomics" followed the trend. All those nomics contracts were writer or to be more specific copied form the Flokinomics project, but rebase moved further deploying its code in more and more projects.

So what is actually rebase?

Rebase also known as elastic supply which works in a way that increases or decrease the circulating supply through a function called rebasing. When a rebase occurs your tokens may decrease however they will stay relative to the token market cap and the value of your tokens will remain the same. The rebase will be used when there are dips in the chart to counter every dip and keep the chart looking healthy.

Timing is essential for any Rebase project. Most rebase’s will happen after a dip in the chart. This creates a nice new green spike as we all know red candles can cause huge panic sell offs. This doesn’t add or remove value to your holding except for the FOMO factor.

Now we know the reason why even though the amount of tokens in your wallet decreases, but the graph with bigger time frame only represents price rise.
