Me

Alright. I’ve finally had a chance to catch up on my messages. Between my work schedule currently, volunteering, and classes I am more AFK than usual. I have to make a couple things clear before I start rambling more. My only priority is the well-being of this alliance, largely externally. For the most part I no longer involve myself in Jump decisions unless necessary. To this end, most of my time is spent talking with other alliances to try and guide our path in this game. I’m lucky in that I tend to deal with external drama mostly. Because of my real obligation to the alliance, I also do not feel I have a right to involve myself in how the corporations here run things beyond recruitment practices, which I’ve yet to step in on because Idgaf about spies in lowsec unless they are obvious.

It is impossible for me to analyze every screenshot, private message, and discussion in this channel that I’ve received over the past 3 days. What I can say is that I’ve never stopped members from moving between corps when they look for a change. No I am not being a hypocrite either, as many have left jump as well to other corps since our inception.

I can see the sides of everyone in what took place in one way or another. The more I read, the more I feel as though this industry incident was a catalyst for things that have been brewing for a while. You all know I encourage comms discussions with no bad mouthing or talking down. Discord text is completely garbage for anything real, and the moment someone gets heated, the discussion stalls into bullshit. My stance on the members that the chats involve, namely shak and true, is that it would be a detriment to the alliance to lose either of them here. I do not care what corp has them, but people/players like them are not common anymore, let alone in low. This will likely piss some of you off, but in my eyes this is now a betterment of the alliance issue, and, at our size, one person can still make a difference, be it line or not. If you would like to discuss my take on this in comms, that can be arranged as well.

I look to all of you as my direct lines to the health and well-being of the corporations which make up the alliance. Without any of us, this endeavor and creation become much more at risk. We are allowed to disagree, that is what good leadership is. It is the manner in which we disagree that I would like to see changed. I have no tolerance for bad mouthing each other when arguing about a decision. We are not the problem to be solved, the problem is. Get on comms, talk through things respectfully, and work to a solution.
