Frontend Developer

Location: remote or office (Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkіv, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi)

English: intermediate+ (communication with the customer, interview in English)

DESCRIPTION

As a front-end developer you generate new ideas and you improve the current platform and features / functions. You will work in a small team next to a designer, an experienced backend developer and a product owner. Our ideal candidate has an eye for detail and a pragmatic approach. What you are going to do:

• Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning functions using JavaScript and HTML / CSS;
• Continuously search for ways to do A / B testing and thereby improve the design and the working site.
• You get full responsibility for both the desktop, tablet and mobile websites and versions of scanmovers.com.
• Daily maintenance of the SCM website and optimization of code for the best user experience.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of core front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Thorough experience with HTML / CSS / JS Experience with jQuery.
• Ability to write high-performance, reusable code.
• Experience with template systems.
• Experience with solving compatibility issues between browsers.
• Experience in a commercial environment; a pragmatic, down-to-earth approach.
• Experience with data-driven product development: analysis, A / B testing, etc.
• Empathy and empathy for the end user
• Knowledge of version control systems
