For the timber finishes we use shellac and hand-rubbed beeswax and for the painted finishes we use gesso and hand-brushed techniques and we can also match a finish to your special requirement. All of our furniture is polished and upholstered in Australia and the hand-carved components have been flown in from trusted workshops in Italy and the Mediterranean.Jean-Christophe always personally ensures that your selection of French provincial furniture works well for you and your home. FRENCH FURNITURE FOR EACH ROOM We provide an extensive selection of French style furniture for each room. For a French bedroom we offer Louis beds and bedheads which come in a polished or painted finish and can be made with cane inserts, wood paneling or upholstered. A Louis bergere, salon chair or end stool combined with Louis bedsides and chest of drawers can complete the room.For the dining room we offer a range of Louis, French provincial, farmhouse and refectory dining tables. We also carry a large selection of Louis, French provincial, farmhouse ladder-back and upholstered chairs.
