Say NO to soap scum and hard mineral deposits! Ask a Representative about the StayCLEAN™ Water & Stain Resistant glass. StayClean™ is an award winning and patented nanotechnology process which makes glass surfaces easier to clean by making them water and oil repellent. Our StayClean™ glass has an ultra thin protective layer of optically clear material, which makes the surface significantly easier to clean and resists weathering. The bond created is a covalent bond, meaning the coating actually shares electrons with molecules in the glass itself, thus becoming part of the glass. Covalent bonds are approximately 10 times stronger than hydrogen-bridge bonds, which are commonly used in most other glass. Glass treated with StayClean™ becomes water and oil repellent resulting in: No need for harsh chemical cleaners 90% less frequent cleanings Reduction in mold and bacteria Nowhere else can you get direct from the manufacturer pricing, as little as 48 hour fabrication time and StayClean™ Water & Stain Resistant glass.

After much polishing and rubbing with a new white tshirt cloth, I don't feel that I achieved that "clear sparkle" finish. From some angles it looks a bit foggy still. I am not thrilled, but if it, along with daily squeegee, indeed prevents water spots I'll be pleased.update: Soon after the above (within hours), I went back and found that any hazy spots easily wiped off and my shower doors look great.

Perhaps it was a little drying time that made the difference.... I upgraded from 4 to 5 starsWe purchasced this not knowing if it would clean the ...Great procductWorks as advertised. Very happy with it. I used this on my glass shower door and it works as advertised. Make sure you have a little ventilation because the fumes this stuff gives off is potent.Clean the glass before applying then spray enough on the mirror to get the entire door coated with a towel, microfiber, etc. If it's the first application then apply a second coat. You can wipe the entire glass down with a bit of water if you'd like since you'll have some residue left over from the polymer coating. That's pretty much it, you should be good to go after that.I noticed that after applying the water beaded off much easier than before and it just doesn't stick. Whatever beads of water are left over wipe off much easier than before. I used about 1/3 of the bottle on the shower door in the video. I'm happy with the product. I'll update this review when this application starts to get weaker.

We've been quoted about 30% more for ShowerGuard and similar coatings and want to know if it is worth the cost for low maintenance clear glass. We dont have hard water, and we're in Chicago. We're looking for experiences and usage opinions. Do you have the same question?  Home>Remodeling - Kitchen & Bath What I always ask my customers regarding this question when remodeling bathrooms is how good they will be about maintaining and cleaning the new bathroom, especially when the old bathroom is obviously neglected.

If you are one of those people who wipes the glass down after a shower and cleans your bathroom every week or two you really don't need to spend the extra money. If you are at the other end of the spectrum and clean it when it finally bothers you enough it may not be a bad investment. I've had customer tell me they can tell a difference compared to their old glass without it and others say it made no difference at all. Answered 4 years ago by Todd's Home Services We have 2 kids, girls, always taking a shower. Including friends who come and go, our shower gets heavy use. All we do is make people wipe down the chrome and glass doors. The shower is fiberglass. I do have to spray a bleach mix once in a while on the silicone seal and the sliders to remove mold but it's no biggie. Our regular shower door glass is low maintenence because we clean as we go. It's a habit that has to be developed but it really doesn't take more than a minute at the end of a shower. It certainly costs substantially less than having a company sell you "low maintenance".

They still have to be cleaned. Where do you save?Once every few months I spray on Lysol Tub n Tile to take off anything built up on the doors while I'm cleaning the rest of the shower. My glass doors are over 15 years old, has very little corrosion on the aluminum frame and look nearly new. My glass looks clean. Can that company guarantee the same for their cost? We live in Peoria, IL and have very hard water.I paid a premium for my ShowerGuard shower door because I live in a hard water area, Silver City, NM. I have had the door for about a month. It does not get a direct stream of water, but splashes and it gets squeegeed. The door has water spots like crazy. I went to the website and tried a few other suggestions, still spotted. I spayed on the color-changing kaboom, waited a few minutes and scrubbed with a magic eraser, then wiped with a paper towel. Got most of it. So much for low maintainance. Answered 1 year ago Thank you for the showerGuard response. Does anyone know about DiamonFusion?
