My mattress isn't the best, and I didn't want to spend the money to buy a new softer mattress (which is expensive). So instead I got this foam topper. COULDN'T BE MORE HAPPY!! It fit perfectly on my bed. My sheets fit over it nicely, and it so comfortable to lay on. I have had it for a while and seems very durable and stays in place. The foam is the the right density...not too soft, yet not too firm. It is definitely still an investment, but so worth it! I would recommend this to anyone! turned my dorm bed into a P. Diddy bed. First, I loved how quickly it got here. it wasn't even a week and that's because I did standard shipping. I live in a college dorm-type place so this was freakin awesome. my mattress itself sucks but this was a game-changer. It's definitely on the softer-side so it was perfect for me. My chiropractor has said that I needed a new bed because it's affecting my lower back. He suggested getting a memory foam mattress or memory foam mattress topper to help out with this. My first initial thoughts of this mattress topper was that it was heavy, but in a good way. I knew that expressed the quality of what I had on my hands, as compared to the light flimsy mattress toppers that I've used in the past; which I don't find very comfortable. I laid it out on my bed and read that it would take 48 hours to reach it's full size.
I left it out for a few hours and it looked ready to sleep on after that (I'm sorry I didn't take a picture I was too excited to try it out). I was concerned that my bed sheets wouldn't fit around it but I was wrong, it stays on just fine with this mattress topper. Also the sheets stay on and don't pop off when you lay down on it. Alright, I felt like I was in 4 inches of quicksand when I laid down on this! It slowly gripped the contours of my body and gave me the feeling of being suspended in midair! I was relieved to find that it still has firmness to it, and yet it's soft enough to feel comfortable. In my opinion it's the perfect ratio. The next night I slept on it I also noticed that it was back to it's original state and hadn't left my body imprint. The past two nights I've woken up feeling fully rested and rejuvenated. I haven't felt like this in quite awhile, and it's all because of this mattress topper. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to buy a whole new mattress, but wants to save money and get this foam topper.
