When I had a small problem with the courier delivering the bed Angelo took action to make me feel better. I can't say enough about his service and the bonus from my perspective is buying a product manufactured right here in Canada. I am sleeping better than I have been in a long time. I purchased the Classic 8 in January of this year, deciding to take advantage of a year end sale. I placed the call and ended up talking to Angelo at the Essentia store in Vancouver. He answered all my questions in helping me decide what model would be best for me. I placed the order with him and 3 weeks later I was sleeping on my new Classic 8. It did take about 3 weeks to adjust to the different style of mattress but now it is totally comfortable and I am sleeping better than I have been in a long time.
The Ergonomic pillow I ordered is the most comfortable pillow I have ever used. Do yourself a favor and order this pillow if you purchase an Essentia mattress. We bought a king size Beausommet mattress and absolutely love it. I sleep so well, despite having a 6-week old baby next to me. The staff at the Kitsilano store were great, not pushy at all and very knowledgeable. She left us alone while we spent our time laying on all the different mattresses and choosing which was best for us. The mattress was also delivered sooner than we expected - I think it took just over 2 weeks. Needless to say the mattresses are expensive, but when you consider that they are meant to last 20-25 years it ends up being comparable cost-wise to a standard mattress, plus it's much healthier for you! We will be buying Essentia mattresses for our kids when the time comes.

Reasonable bed, works as expected I purchased this bed online while it was on sale, for a family member visiting me for a few weeks. The bed was delivered in good condition and faster than expected. It seems like a reasonably sturdy bed (time will tell), light and easy to move around. It does take up quite a bit of space when folded, so you need to keep this in mind when choosing a place to store it long-term. It comes with a light, flimsy cover for storage - nothing fancy but it will do, I guess. The assembly was reasonably easy (one person can do it in less than 30 minutes) BUT there are no instructions whatsoever. You just get a list of the parts included, and no instructions, so you have to figure out where things go.
