This purchase could not have gone better for us. This is so handy to have around when guests come to visit, so much more comfortable than an air mattress. Also, we put it on top of a crappy sofa bed mattress one night, and we slept great! It folds up and has handles, making it ultra convenient! The kids absolutely love playing on it and think it's great that it can fold into a fun sofa, it's perfect for family fun and movie nights! Air mattresses don't always hold the air and its a pain to blow up and never firm enough This is a perfect solution. This thick foam mattress is comfortable to sleep on, it also doubles as a great reading nook in the corner. The cover is kind of textured and encourages the kids to put a sheet on it to sleep which makes mom happy. it is firm and not mushy. there is not a smell that is common in several mattresses light weight and easy to fold up and put aside comes in a cool duffel - i can't imagine ever getting the mattress back into the duffel but we are using the bag for other things delivery was fast and it was shrink wrapped and wrapped again good so nothing would get into this in transit - it wouldn't get wet on a porch or get any critters at a shipping site
easier to use and store than an air mattress and i don't think it weighs as much as an air mattress big football player cousins said it was comfy By: Skyler G. on Nov 03,2016 10 out of 10 would sleep again We host game nights with friends that have a tendency to drink more than they should, before purchasing this they would just sleep on air pads but would complain of the discomfort (i thought they wouldn't be so picky) but i finally caved and looked for compact and comfortable options. It took three days to set up but it was worth it. The mattress was a bit firm but not to an uncomfortable level. There was an odd smell upon first arrival but it quickly dissipated while setting up in a well ventilated room. The best part of this product is its ability to fold up. We live in a smaller apartment so space is always a stress. It folded fits perfectly behind my clothes where it is out of the way and out of view. We quickly ordered this and wow, it's so comfortable. We had to let it sit flat for a day before using it so that it could poof up after being smashed in its packaging, but it's way comfortable. It's also soft, if I was in a hurry I wouldn't even feel bad not putting sheets over it or something because the fabric already feels nice. My one year old has been using it as a mini couch all day. I will probably buy another for camping. By: L Taylor on Nov 03,2016 We use this so much! This is a great mattress! It expanded quickly and is really comfortable. The fold up option is so fun for family movie nights and it's relatively easy to move from room to room. It's much more comfortable than an air mattress and wonderful to have for sleep overs and house guests. It barely had the new memory foam smell when we opened it and after following the directions, it expanded properly and the smell was gone. We are so excited about our new mattress! They can be used on a tri-fold frame, on a 39" chair, or on a platform bed.Pictured here is a 39" chair with a built in ottoman, although it is also available as a 2-piece split cushion. When laid flat this makes a twin bed. When used as pictured, it is a great place to kick back and relax . Full and Double size mattresses are the same. Full size futons are the most common size sold for use as a sofa. They also provide adequate space to function as a guest bed. They can be used on bi-fold or tri- fold frames, or platform beds.Pictured here is a bi-fold couch frame. Full size is the most common size of futon mattress used on a couch.
When used as pictured this style sits like a traditional sofa. When opened to a bed, it makes a standard a full size measuring 54"x75" between the arms. Size - QueenStyle Queen size mattresses are most commonly sold for platform beds. They can also be used as a sofa on a bi-fold frame, but the back of a queen size futon will stick up about 6" higher than a full size futon, which is sometimes awkward. They are also a bit more difficult to operate than full size mattresses. A queen size futon can also be used on a tri-fold frame to make an over sized chair.Queen size is NOT the most common size of futon mattress used on a couch. When used as pictured this style sits like a traditional sofa with a back that is 6 inches higher than usual. When opened to a bed, it makes a standard a queen size measuring 60"x80" between the arms.Size - 28" ChairStyle There are a variety of ways you can set up a 28" futon chair. If you are only using it as a chair and have no interest in the ottoman, a 28"x54 chair cushion is perfect for you.

Size - 39" ChairStyle 39" futon chairs look like a miniature love seats or over sized chairs, but are actually the same width as a twin size. They have a built in ottoman so you can easily create a twin sleeping surface. You can choose to have a 39x21 inch cushion made for the ottoman, which is an ideal choice when you want a comfortable overs ized chair that also provides an extra bed, all without taking up very much space.

Cushions for love seats and ottomans can be 1 piece or two piece.A Bi-Fold Frame is the most common type of futon frame. A Bi-Fold is a convertible futon sofa-bed frame that utilizes two slat racks. The bi-fold allows the futon mattress to fold once along its length. Full size bi-fold frames are approximately 75" inside the arms, while queen size frames are 80". Bed futons are specially designed to replace a traditional box spring and mattress on a platform bed. In order to ensure you get a futon cover that fits your futon mattress, it is important that you measure your mattress correctly. To accurately gauge the size of your futon mattress, measure all three dimensions. length, width, and height (height can also be refferred to as loft or depth). Measure the longest side (length) of the futon as accurately as you can from corner seam to corner seam. Then measure the width and height in the same manner. Most of the covers Cotton Cloud Futons sells are designed to fit a 6" thick mattress. If your mattress is thicker or thinner than these measurements, let us know and we will have a cover custom made to fit it correctly. Be as accurate as you can when measuring, the size of the futon may vary with age and useage. Use the standard sizes below to identify what size futon mattress you have.
