We have vendors of all types, local draft beer, commemorative merchandise, promotions and contests, greening initiatives AND Marvest – a free event that collaborates with local businesses to spotlight Ottawa talent in unconventional venues. Gates open at 5 PM on weekdays, 1 PM on weekends. Headliners end at about 10 PM nightly, and late night programming (Aberdeen/Marvest) at about 1 AM. Tickets will be sold at the CityFolk box office, located adjacent to the TD Place box office on Exhibition Way. This opens at 4 PM on event weekdays, 1PM on event weekends. Note that pricing is subject to change, and we cannot predict wait times on busy evenings. Purchase your tickets in advance for the smoothest festival experience. Re-entry: patrons can leave and re-enter the festival.




You MUST scan out BEFORE leaving the park if you intend to return later that day – ! Please see a gates attendant PRIOR to exiting the festival gates if you are unclear on how this works. You can walk, bike, bus, or drive to the festival!  Your transportation options are listed on our Directions page. The Great Lawn is a general admission (GA) event NOT held at TD Place (the stadium) but behind it. There is no seating in GA.  Patrons may bring collapsible lawn chairs to use in the designated lawnchair section located on the North side of the hill only. If you are bringing a lawn chair: Note – there are no lawnchairs allowed at the RavenLaw Stage due to space limitations. Thanks for your cooperation! RavenLaw Stage inside the Horticulture Building has limited capacity. If you plan to see a certain show at RavenLaw, be sure to get there early for your best chance at securing a spot. Space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis




Children under 10 do not need a ticket when accompanied by a parent. We recommend bringing earplugs and planning a meeting spot in advance with young children in case of separation. Not all acts are suitable for all audiences. BSOMA Kidzone activities are planned on weekend afternoons from 1-6PM. These activities are free! See more on the Participate page. School may be back in session, but the fun isn’t over just yet! Student rush passes will be available each day at CityFolk. Discounted student passes will be available at the festival box office daily. Arrive early to get a deal! The festival is an accessible event. For more detail see our Accessibility page. This is an outdoor event, rain or shine. If significant weather delays are anticipated, we’ll let you know through announcements on our social media and at the festival. Band and festival merchandise will be available to purchase inside The Great Lawn. Bring cash or credit. Will be available to buy at the festival!

Wet your whistle with hot cider, mulled wine, Beau’s draft beer, and Molson products inside The Great Lawn.Aberdeen Pavilion has you covered with 15 CRAFT BEER sampling booths. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Remember that only sealed water bottles are allowed through the gates. Amenities to make your life easier! All vendors will accept cash and credit. We have ATMs at the festival too. Refillable water stations so you can keep hydrated. First Aid Tent – don’t hesitate to visit or ask for help if you need it. Info Booth and Accessibility Team – these cheerful faces can answer your questions and provide accessibility assistance. Portable Toilets and Hand Washing Stations – self-explanatory, really. Security will be conducting bag checks at the gates and walking the grounds to foster a safe environment. If you require their assistance, absolutely do not hesitate to let them know.




The festival grounds are a non-smoking area. NO  Weapons, Colours, or Contraband NO  Bicycles inside festival grounds. Valet bike parking is available onsite. NO  Skateboards, roller blades, scooters, carts or personalized motorized vehicles (except wheelchairs) NO  Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia NO  Liquids EXCEPT sealed water bottlesService dogs are permitted.
