It's that spirit of bringing people together over a delicious festive meal that we wanted to celebrate with Asda's 2016 Christmas advert.

The ad shows extended family and friends in their Christmas jumpers all crammed in around a never ending table of festive delights. There's the plump and beautifully-golden turkey, as well as decadent dishes of rich smoked salmon and pork loin with black pudding and apple stuffing, and tasty desserts including mince pies and macarons. We're feeling full already! It's a scene that will no doubt resonate with anyone who's ever hosted a large family Christmas. You know, like having to borrow an extra table from the neighbours, the last minute panic about who you're going to put on the foldaway camping chair this year, and the hours spent desperately trying to remember who's vegeterian, who's gluten-intolerant and who just really hates sprouts. The feel-good ad has already been getting people in the festive spirit online. Make sure you stock up on all your Christmas food at Asda.George at Asda is a clothing label started in the 1990s and created by George Davies.
