Octaspring 8500 Memory Foam Mattress - Super King Standard Delivery Included * Sign in to use My Wishlist Our carrier will contact you via phone, text or email within 3 business days from confirmation of your order to arrange delivery within 10 business days. Find out more about our Delivery Terms. The Octaspring 8500 mattress is the deepest and most luxurious mattress in the Octaspring collection. It contains 3 layers of Octasprings; the bottom layer provides a supportive foundation, the middle layer consists of 5 individual support zones that match a body's weight distribution, with a plush memory foam spring zoned layer on top to give a feeling of pure comfort.Innovative VentilationThe patented technology used in the Octaspring mattresses allows air to breath through the mattress, giving you a cooler night sleep. Without adequate ventilation, the sleep surface gets hot, causing you to perspire. Not only does the heat and humidity disturb your sleep but also over a short period of time will cause a traditional mattress to start to break down, discolour and encourage mites and micro-organisms, a major cause of allergies.

SupportThe Octaspring springs are positioned allowing greater comfort, support and ventilation whilst sleeping. The Octaspring laboratories use extensive pressure mapping to determine spring firmness and placements, so each individual Octaspring works independently and collectively to rest the body in the perfect state for smooth blood circulation, relaxation of muscles and agile vertebra alignment.  One of the great features of the Octaspring is that there is no transfer of motion from one side of the bed to another. The springs can move independently so there isn't the ripple effect you can get with traditional spring mattresses. Traditional metal springs deteriorate over time.  Octasprings' innovative design maintains its resilience and compression, ensuring long lasting comfort and support.  Remarkably, even after 60,000 repetitions, simulating 20 years of use, the Octaspring virtually performs like new. You can rest assured that the Octaspring is built to last. The Octaspring mattress also comes with removable covers allowing you to wash the cover and have a refreshed night sleep.

(self.personalfinance)submitted by My wife and I are planning to buy a mattress this weekend. Are there places I should avoid? Is there a mattress buying guide you recommend? I read the one on consumer reports. edit: This sub is always so helpful. Thanks for all the replies! π Rendered by PID 30391 on app-787 at 2017-03-05 15:03:42.036820+00:00 running f3f09f7 country code: SG.

A good night's sleep is worth a million bucks, but a mattress doesn't have to cost a fortune. In Consumer Reports' latest buying guide, the organization tested 12 mattresses from companies like Ikea, Sealy and Costco, and found that some of the more expensive ones actually weren't exactly top-notch, while those with a lower price-tag didn't always mean low quality. For example, the $1,200 ComforPedic Loft Crestwood Luxury Plush was ranked lowest, while the $780 Beautyrest Glover Park Firm Pillowtop was the best in conventional, innerspring mattresses. But the biggest discovery? That the descriptions used to label a mattress' firmness mean nothing. "The only way to determine if the cushiness and the firmness is right for you is to lie down on the bed and try it for yourself," said Consumer Reports Expert Shopper Tod Marks. "Don't get seduced or sucked into terms like 'ultra-plush,' 'super-plush,' even 'cushion-firm.' They aren't standard terms and vary from mattress maker to mattress maker.
