Flood

Flood is a natural occurrence in which an area or land that is normally dry becomes submerged in water. Flood can be defined as the overflow of water in large quantities onto land that is usually dry. Floods occur due to many things such as excessive rain, overflowing rivers or lakes. Floods can be prevented by planting plants such as trees to reduce overflowing rivers and preserve the natural environment so that waste from water sources does not overflow.
