Maybe you’re wondering what is flood. Well, flood is an overflow of water that submerges land that is usually dry. Floods are an area of study in the discipline of hydrology. They are the most common and widespread natural severe weather event. Floods can look very different because flooding covers anything from a few inches of water to several feet.

Flood is dangerous in a lot of ways. Standing flood waters can also spread infectious diseases, contain chemical hazards, and cause injuries. Each year, flooding causes more deaths than any other hazard related to thunderstorms. The most common flood deaths occur when a vehicle is driven into hazardous flood waters.

we can avoid flood by some easy things to do for example we can make green rooftops it will benefit you because the sand will absorb the water. Also, you can make your house in a high place if it’s available. If not you can find a way to move the water from your place to any sewer exists next to your house.

For my conclusion i the that preparing is always the best solution available if you are always prepared then flood will never happen to you because you already did what you need to do to prevent it.
