Flood is an overflow of water that submerges land that is usually dry. Flood often occurred in lowland areas or adjacent to water sources. Flood could have been tiggered by a human or a natural event. Flood could be prevented by preserving the existence of natural life especially the existence of sewage from water sources so that canals could not be clogged and water could not overflow.
