New Features
(Features that are available on X iOS, but not available on regular Objective-C version)
- Floating date while scrolling chats, tapping on it will jump to the beginning of the day.
- Markdown or text formatting (bold, italic,
monospace). Regular version have bold & italic only. - Copy link to message in public groups. Tap hold a message ➔ Copy Link
- Expandable in-app notifications.
- Caption on photo album.
- Photo thumbnail on notification for messages with photo, video, and GIF.
- Open and browse (swipe left-right) uncompressed media.
- Include Muted Chats for notification badge setting.
- Count Unread Messages for notification badge setting.
- Enable Raise to Speak setting.
- Blocked list displayed with photo profile.
- New Share Extension design and add a comment option when sharing media from external apps.
- Support .OPUS audio file.
- Music streaming. Supported format: AAC, MP3, OGG, ALAC and FLAC.
- Alpha version: Video streaming. Tap hold the video ➔ Stream. Supported format: AVC and HEVC. Note: video as file is not supported.
- Multiple accounts (experimental). Tap 10 times on Settings icon ➔ Debug ➔ Accounts.
- iPad’s iOS 11+ feature: drag and drop between apps.
- Open Telegraph links in Instant View by default.
- Keep Chat Stack option on Debug settings.
- Redact Sensitive Data for debug log setting.
- Volume bar in the top left corner on the iPhone X.
- "Names on lock-screen" for notification setting.
- Reduce Motion in Appearance setting.
- Support for photos in push notifications.
- Tap and hold on Chats icon multiple times to navigate unread of unmuted chats.

- Apply attached localization strings file.
- Recent Masks & Stickers on drawing tool of Photo/Video Editor.
- Quick camera by tap hold the attachment button.
- 'Keep Media: 3 days' option on Storage Usage settings.
- Extended in-app player when clicking link preview from YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Twitch.tv, Spotify, SoundCloud.
- Smart Invert on iOS 11.
- Masks 🎭 button when opening an image with masks.
- Send files from Dropbox.
- Text formatting or markdown in file/media caption (currently support in edit mode).
- In-app search Images & GIFs.
