My guests love the bed now. I'm seriously considering buying another for the master bedroom king sized bed. Too small for my cal king, even though I ordered a cal king topper. Is about 10inches too slim.. Great quality and super soft! This featherbed has made all the difference for our (my husband and my) aching backs! It really helps minimize that morning stiffness which one starts to experience when one reaches 65 or 70 years of age! Also: it is cozy in Winter, but not too warm in Summer! Great - love the featherbed. I read the reviews about this making my bed so fluffy and wonderful, not so much....looking at the made bed, it looks real fluffy but when I lay down it flattens out and I'm not feeling the wonderfulness yet....sorry
Just what I needed to compliment my mattress...a soft cloud of feathers to make sleep deliciously comfy! Almost a year later and this featherbed still stinks. From the second we opened the package it had a strong plastic and dirty farm smell. We stuck it in a spare bedroom a day later as I discovered I was pregnant and couldn't stand the scent. My husband tried airing it out and had it cleaned professionally. The smell has still not gone away or gotten any better. Gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she LOVES them! I love this feather bed. Very poofy and comfortable Love, love, love this. I am having back surgery soon and it really helps me rest. Our mattress was too firm so we decided to try this before spending the money on a new mattress purchase. Comfort plus and we are loving it. Love having the cover. I love feather beds! I have been so spoiled of feather beds for the past decade or so. With having a bad back and not being able to afford a high end mattress, the feather bed serves its purpose, to where I don't feel the mattress springs poking at me which makes me sore.
I've gotten my past feather beds from a particular company, but they no longer make them. So Ive been hesitant to try any other brand. But by reading the reviews, I took a chance with this one. So glad I did! Feathers haven't flattened out as if yet, and I sleep well on it. No foul odor from the feathers either. This is a great product for the price. Most feather beds do not come with a cover which adds to the cost this one has a cover. You do have to fluff it but it has been great sleeping on it sorry but I was not happy with the quality and since it is so much work to send it back I gave it to Goodwill. Aired and fluffed for a day and still flat. Is not true to size as described. Ordered for king size bed 78 x 80 and the featherbed is at least 3" short on one side. Also did not come with the zippered cover.I bought two for our home and one for a gift. It is smart to get the featherbed cover. Feather bed and cover A bit smaller that i expected but great material

I'm looking for a new mattress for me and my boyfriend and the only issue we have is he likes to sleep on a really firm mattress (stomach sleeper) and I like a mattress with some give (side sleeper) so I thought latex or memory foam might be the best bet... firm but with some give. I know about the Sonno Versa mattress from DWR, I suppose that would be ideal, but it's a little pricey for us right now, especially since we have to buy a bed as well. So I've been eyeballing the foam and the latex mattresses from IKEA...I would love to hear about any of the readers' experiences with these mattresses before I buy... trying them out at the store is nothing like the experience of sleeping on them night after night!
