Q: Can I downgrade stock rom from A13 to A12?

A : Yes, you can. Just select that option from the tool’s menu.


Q: Will it not trigger anti rollback ?

A: The downgrading procedure in this tool is totally safe because it uses FastbootD to downgrade.


Q: How to update Stock rom or Custom rom ?

A: Just normally flash the rom by selecting the particular option in the tool. After flashing, there comes an option if you want to reset your device or not. Just select not to reset your device.


Q: How to update GSI ?

A: Select Update GSI option in the tool’s menu.


Q: I have the Rom archive. Do I need to extract it ?

A: Not necessary. The rom archives are with extension name .zip while the GSI archives are with extension name .xz. Just copy the archive to the particular folder, and start the flashing process by selecting the necessary option in the tool. The archive will be auto extracted.


Q: I don’t have an archive, but I have extracted image files. Can I flash ?

A: Yes, you can. Just copy those extracted images / files to the respective folder, and start the flashing process by selecting the necessary option in the tool.


Q: The custom rom archive contains payload.bin. What to do ?

A: No need to worry. If payload.bin is found in extracted images, it will be also auto extracted and flashed.


Q: The extracted images are getting auto deleted. Anything wrong ?

A: Nothing is wrong, it is by design. 


     → If you have copied an archive, it will be auto extracted. After flashing, those extracted images will be deleted. But the archive will only remain.


     → If you have copied images, then after flashing, those images will be deleted. So it is instructed that please keep a copy of such images elsewhere.


Q: Can I just update the necessary partitions in Stock or Custom rom ?

A: Yes. Just select Firmware update option from the tool’s menu.


Q: Help. The tool is giving error. What to do ?

A: Just manually delete the folder and the desktop shortcuts. Then reinstall the tool using setup.


Q: How to uninstall ?

A: Just manually delete the folder and the desktop shortcuts.
