Ethiopia

In Ethiopia, many people are in danger of dying every day because they are living in poverty.  Living in poverty is when you are extremely poor.  Ethiopia has been living like that for more than two decades. Since Ethiopians are so poor, they can't afford water. They have to get their water from shallow water sources. They also aren't very healthy because the water that they drink has stuff like animal waste, worms, or even types of diseases.  Yet only 28 percent have limited access to water, and this means that when they can get it, their water is most likely safe.

This is a problem because only 42% of their population has clean water, and more than 105 million people live in Ethiopia. Us Americans, if we want water, all we must do is turn on the faucet. They must walk miles to get their water. Which means the way they get their water is much harder than how we do. Another thing is that American families use an average of about 300 gallons of water every single day. Families are struggling every single day because that's how much water they will get in around three months.  To help save how much water they can get every day and eliminate the time it takes for them to get water, I think we should find a way to fix it.

In my opinion, to fix this problem. We should have more charities around the world because I'm sure that when people hear about how much people in Ethiopia are struggling, they will probably imagine, it wouldn't hurt us to donate some of our water toward them. To limit the amount of time it takes for them to get water we can hire people who are willing to help, and they should be able to travel there free They can bring gallons of water toward them every day since it is basically like a job I think the government should pay them.
