In today's globalized world crime has a great significance in young people's lives. Many may turn to it because starting a career can be unforgiving and harsh. In some cases, very successful members of society can resort to crime due to the influence of friends.

Firstly, some youngsters get forced into crime by the community. It seems like the modern world offers many opportunities, but actually, it's very hard to get their first jobs while having no record of experience. Not fortunate to find a fitting job or just entrepreneurs even try to start their own business, but when it does not thrive like they hoped it would, people tend to quit and no longer try to accomplish anything in life.

In addition to the first reason, young people's lives are commonly shaped by their closest mates. It's difficult to let go of long-time amities; friendship can be the most important part of youngsters lives. When the closest people turn bad, the majority follows. But it does not happen straight away, usually, it starts with small thievery, that later on turns into larger break-ins.

In conclusion, young people start committing crimes as a result of countless reasons. The main cause of this kind of behavior, in my opinion, is the influence of their friends. I'm lead to believe that because friends are a crucial part of everyone's lives.
