Reasons why young people commit crime

Becoming a criminal, especially at young age, isn`t somthing that happens overnight; it usually happens when the child`s parents don`t have enought control over their offsprings or their getting influenced by other people to do so.

One of the possible reasons, why young people commit crime, is the lack of control on them. It would be much more difficult to do something against the law if the child`s parents were constantly aware of their doings. Thats why youngsters need to be given guidance and dicipline. If parents don`t care about what their children are doing, they start to think that everything is allowed for them, which usually leads down to a darker path of life.

Another feasible reason is the influence of friends. Sometimes the young ones get influenced more by their friends than their parents, which means that if the group of friends commit crimes, there is the possiblity of children doing so too. Doing something with friends is always easier that doing it alone. The reason for that is simple, theres this thing called herd mentality, which makes individuals more likely to be influenced by their peers based solely on emotional reason.

In conclusion, the likeliest cause of young people to commit crime is the second reason. Because children are more likely to be influenced by a group of friends, so they think that doing, what their peers are doing, is right.
