Beautyrest Queen-size Heated Electric Mattress Pad Works great, price was right. Better than an electric blanket! You never get in a cold bed, however, I turn it off while sleeping, because it gets too hot.
This mattress cover is wonderful and so warm. Decadence at it's best! What a difference it makes crawling into bed on cold winters nights and finding the warmth of this mattress! Works well and is quite comfortable. Only had for three months and one side quit working. It's NOT the controller, tried switching with other side and the controller works. I guess I will have to see how good their 5 year warranty is. My husband and I are very happy with this electric mattress pad. The quality is much nicer than the old one we had, very soft. Can't beat the price! I thought the price point was perfect and I am extremely pleased with the quality. Looks good, works poorly Oredered this heated Queen size mattress pad and it looks good, however, the specs say it will stay on for 10 hours. Ours will only stay on about an hour. Tried calling Beautyrest in CA, had to leave a message, and to date they have not returned our call. If it worked as advertised, I would have rated it five stars.
Hate to buy trash. After purchase, I read reviews and find numerous complaints regarding customer service at BeautyRest. This one ended in good will. The short plug is a problem like others had noted, Stopped working on one side after 2 monthsI've had several others heated mattress pads that lasted years. This one stopped working on one side after just two months. For the money spent, I expected better than this. Oly 1 side of the control works. The heat temps are not very high. You woudnt stay warm on the high temp. Thinking this is a manufacturing defect. Not recommending this all. I really feel it deserves zero stars.. Should have paid attention to the other reviews Bought this December 6. Last night, the left half went out. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a full refund. So far so good It seems that the heating up of this mattress pad is somewhat inconsistent, but I haven't used a timer and it suits me fine so far :) It has helped me transition from the warmth of a waterbed to a regular bed and I wouldn't do without one after this.
It is warm, cozy, and I like the controls. They are easy to operate, even when half asleep. There is a bump where the plugs are at the foot of the bed, but I just move my feet to the left or right and I am short. You won't get away from this with any of the heated mattress pads from what I can ascertain. There are controls on both sides of the queen mattress pad. I thought this would annoy me as I sleep alone and would have to control both, but I find that if I want it to be warm on one side, but cool for my feet on the other, it is the best of both worlds! ... couple of months later, I have to say that this mattress pad is excellent and heats up much better than two other brands I have tried and I now love it. It is no longer heating up inconsistently. I bought this for my wife. She is always cold and does not like getting into a cold bed. The pad is nice in that it has 2 sides. I didn't even plug my side in. The lump at the foot where the controls plug in is sometimes noticeable but not enough to bother me.
This is a good product. Looks and works as described. Can feel the box for cord at your feet but my husband and I are both very tall. This is my first heated mattress pad, I've always had electric blankets before. Next time I will go with the blanket. I just like the heat being on top better than the bottom. winter just got a little nicer Excellent quality, heats up quickly, very easy controls. This electric mattress pad was faulty from the start. We went through the trouble to put it on the mattress before we tested the controls. After following the manufacturers instructions a few times on how to troubleshoot it, one side of the mattress pad still did not heat. My husband tested it with an electrical tester and it is not "hot" on one side. I'm disappointed as this is only my second purchase from OVERSTOCK but both of the things I purchased were broken.
