Acids are divided into two main types:

AHA acids are water-soluble, so they work on the skin surface. They fight with dull skin, wrinkles and dryness. Suitable for dry and combination skin.

BHA acids help fight acne, rashes and inflammation. Suitable for combination, problem and oily skin. The most common BHA acid is salicylic acid.

AHA and BHA can be used in the morning and evening. But afterwards, you must use sunscreen, regardless of the season! Acids make your skin very sensitive to ultraviolet rays and can cause pigmentation.
