That’s the worst part.There are comfortable and stylish looking seat pads that don’t trap food underneath them and destroy the chair. We didn’t think it was possible. They’re washable, and while we’re not signing up for the white chair to really test how wipe-able these pads can get, there are black and green options available.The Abiie Beyond also has minimal screw holes and other spots for food to accumulate. We have been using the chair for about a month now as my 6 month old daughter has begun eating solid food. The chair is a great size for her and she has been able to easily sit up straight in it for the past month. With my 2 1/2 year old we owned the Fisher Price Rainforest Highchair, which was slightly less expensive. We have also used Cosco and Eddie Bauer highchairs at relatives on a fairly regular basis and the Abiie chair is by far my favorite. I bought it for when our first grandbaby comes to visit this Christmas. My husband put it together very easily! We are pleased with how sturdy it is. I was surprised that the cushions were not flimsy at all like some of the reviews said.
I love how easy it will be to clean. I also love how easy it is to change the foot rest and seat. I can't wait for my grandson to get here to try it out!! I wish I would have had this high chair when my kids were little. If I did, it would probably still be around.Quality is great, easy to assemble. Only down side is you need two hands to move the tray in and out. My daughter is only 8 months old right now, but as she grows the seat can be adjusted down to accommodate for her change in height. And most of all for my husband and me it is a modern beautiful addition to our kitchen. I'm not a huge fan of all the cheap looking plastic high chairs. This high chair is perfect for our home!
