Dragonchain (DRGN)
CryptoTurtleDragonchain was developed at the Disney’s Seattle office in 2014 by Joe Roets and his team consisting of other 13 people, who wanted to build a server less architecture blockchain platform and an incubator.
The team had the vision to launch Dragonchain as a commercial entity providing an array of products and services to the community.
They wanted to avoid that someone could use security vulnerability to attack the smart contract and withdraw funds or valuable information. So they allowed development and integration before the economic model was known. The monetization can be applied after a system is functioning and enough real data is available for analysis.
Dragonchain simplifies the integration of real business applications into a blockchain and provides features such as easy integration, protection of business data and operations, currency agnosticism and multi-currency support.
Dragonchain consists of four parts:
1.) The Dragonchain platform, which is build on a scalable server less platform with built-in protection of business data using established programming languages (Java, Python, Node, C#)
2.) The DragonFund Incubator, which gives early access to exiting projects and direct access to legal, technical, marketing and economic subject matter experts to the users of Dragonchain supported by an ecosystem of subject matter experts and blockchain enthusiasts. It works with companies to help them identify how blockchain technology and smart contracts can advance their mission and in select cases to build-out token marketplace environments that will build and increase long term value.
3.) Dragonchain marketplace leverages an ecosystem of pre-built library smart contracts, qualified vendors, specialized experts and incubated projects.
4.) The “Dragon” represents a tokenized license for the access to all services of the Dragonchain platform and ecosystem. They will also be used to support projects in the DragonFund Incubator and provide early access to technology and data from the projects. Also they will be used to reward and incentivize developers contributing to the open source project and related projects and to increase adoption in the developer community with rewards and training. The community members will be able to contribute on issues and designs and reward active participation in the development of important functionality anywhere in the world. It is developed for the Blockchain Business Magic.
