It is more beautiful than I could have imagined and Chris has been incredibly helpful throughout. I will definitely be buying more pieces from him. We bought an oak pedestal desk recently. We are very happy with the desk and whole experience, especially the level of attention to detail. Chris brought a test sample of leather to our house for us to check the colour and borrowed an oak shelf so that the colour of the desk should fit. The desk is exactly what we wanted and we would recommend Elisabeth James Antiques to anyone. A superb range of good quality tables and chairs to choose from- we were spoilt for choice. Chris was extremely helpful, and very flexible in meeting us at the 'showroom' on a wet Bank Holiday Monday. Also very flexible in arranging delivery once the table and chairs had been restored. The restoration has been done to a very high standard, both the woodwork and the upholstering. We have already recommended to friends and would;t hesitate in doing so again.

Our core area of speciality is antique dining tables and associated antique dining furniture and we believe, under our humble roofs, to hold the largest collection of quality tables in World.
