I happened to be meeting some friends at the Chancery late one night in December, just before closing, and I noticed this big guy in the back dining area taking apart some boothes. So I went back there and asked him if he was repairing these seats and of course he was.
I told him of the fix I was in and he introduced himself as "John of Johns Upholstery" and he replied that I just found the Man for the job. John came over to my place out in Waukesha the next day and took some measurements, we decided on the color and layout and John went to work. I wasn't sure I was going to get my new booth in time for my party but at this point I didn't have anything to lose. John must have worked day and night to custom build my new booth seating measuring over twenty feet long across the side wall. The booth looks great and I had it installed in my dining room 3 days before New Years! Thanks John, you saved my party Unkown to me until John came into my restaurant was that I already had been enjoying some of John's craftmenship. You see I had bought several used booth sections at an auction earlier in the year that were in great shape and looked like they were only a year or two old. Well they had been built by John and his Dad some fifteen years ago, wow, thats a well built seat!
