My name is Mubarak Rabiu, student of the University of Lagos, department of business administration.

Without wasting time, let me just say what I want. straight to the point. Your design reignate my passion for graphics and UI design. Ever since the lockdown started, I wanted to learn a specific skills, and brand design identity and UI/UX design is what came to my mind, tho it is what I have always yarn for. I have downloaded tones of YouTube videos, tutorials on graphics design and many books and articles on design, they are helpful but I need a practical participation. I wanted to have a team of designers that I can join, talk to when I come across design related problems and get inspiration from them and collaborate on a project. I haven't seen one till date. Maybe it is because of the lockdown tho. I might have seen one in sch.

So, why did I message you? The Twitter thread in which I discovered your design was an opportunity for me, I thought "I could get inspiration from one or two designers here. Let me go through the whole thread" that is how desperate I am. After going through like two designers portfolio, I came across yours. Your design stood out. Your design is simple, succinct and speaks volumes, with your color choices and typography choice. You portfolio is great too, you really mean business. The two designers just post a direct link to their behance profile, but you did well to package yours and promote your skills. I love that. Well, you can't expect less from student of "the university of first choice" lol. sorry I peeped through your resume, "my Alma Mater? I'm taking this opportunity". I wish I am an employer, we could have been talking a multimillion naira deal, but the future is bright.

*"The story is enough boy, What do you want?". I will really appreciate if you can mentor me, I want inspiration, point me in some direction that will elevate my design skills, most especially branding. UI/UX design is the future, I want to hop on the train now. That is what I want to be honest. It will come with a price. I know. I'm ready to pay. I might not have the money now, but I will find.
