We don't just talk about ourselves...promise.This chic 4-bedroom house is just a few minutes’ walk from the Quadrado in the heart of Trancoso and the nearest beach, and has a bright blue infinity pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The outdoor living space is a great place for a barbecue or to watch the sunset, cocktail in hand. The residence is staffed with a maid, security staff and an English-speaking concierge. Additional private cooks, maids, babysitters and barmen can be arranged for an extra fee. There is a bright blue pool surrounded by tropical gardens.
It is just a small stroll for little legs to the beach and the town. Sitting eating tropical fruit in the outdoor lounge is great fun. Kids will love watching the action in the Quadrano - the town square - where the local children run and play football. The beach is safe for kids and there are gentle waves. Nearby activities include horseback riding, capoeira lessons and boat trips to quiet beaches and secret islands. Minimum stay: 1 week. While it is a 1-storey house, there is a small flight of steps up to the outside from the deck and garden, and some steps inside, all ungated. The pool is not gated - it is not ideal for crawling babies or toddlers. One of the pool house bedrooms is right alongside the pool. There is parking for 2 cars. Maid service is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Pre-arrival grocery shopping can be arranged - arriving to a kitchen full of food and a fridge of cold drinks is highly recommended. Tips are not included in the rates. This residence is a short walk from the central square and a beach, at the end of a quiet street.
Trancoso, in southern Bahia, is a relaxed and unpretentious beach town with a sophisticated clientele, designer boutiques, crêpe stalls and friendly restaurants. International visitors tend to fly into Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo and take a local flight to Porto Seguro. Transfers with trusted drivers can be arranged from Porto Seguro airport, 1.5 hours’ drive away. Car hire is recommended but not essential and can be arranged in Trancoso. The residence is split between a main house and a pool house. The main house has a kitchen, large living area with entertainment system, books and games, a dining room and 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, 1 with kingsize bed and the other with twin beds or a double bed as required. The pool house has 2 further bedrooms, each with queensize beds and ensuite bathrooms. There is a large multi-level covered living and dining area in the garden with barbecue, dining table and seating and an infinity pool surrounded by a wooden deck and chairs. This 400sqm house was once a ceramic workshop and the former kiln is still used today - as a barbecue in the outdoor living/dining area.
