Cons Can be frustrating not to see changes implemented. Too great a focus on sales numbers and figures at the expense of improving company culture and actually changing customer opinion through an improved experience. The department and its staff are greatly undervalued. 9 Feb 2017 Pros Great people and work culture within most the teams Cons management can be stressful at times 23 Feb 2017 Pros Decent pay, staff discounts, good for uni students Cons Non-Realistic KPI, lack of respect for staff Advice to Management Listen to your workers. 6 Feb 2017 I worked at David Jones part-time Pros Great group of people to work with Cons Poor management, lack of communication 30 Jan 2017 I have been working at David Jones part-time (More than a year) Pros Staff discounts.Dressing up for work.Great team to work with. Can work you way up easily. Cheese, meats, seafood, greens the whole shebang.. I shop here though for the odd kind of things that are hard to find at your local grocers. Truffle salts, oils etc.. It is a family tradition to come here every time we visit Sydney.

Nothing better than Champagne and oysters and always delicious with lovely staff. I often visit David Jones food hall juice bar and have a small pistachio yogurt with fresh fruit. The mix of seasonal fruits and delicious yogurt is a great way to begin a day of exploring Sydney. We don't live in Sydney, so when we are there for a visit, we usually splurge. My trip to the food hall usually includes grabbing takeaway sushi, a few salads at the deli part, yoghurt with fruit, and either a chocolate from the chocolate shop (which I think rivals Haigh's Chocolate) or something from the bakery, although I was disappointed... We visited the roast section of your food hall last Saturday the 14th of Jan, we had 2 (number 1 boxes) which included roast beef and vegetables, I can say without any hesitation that it was one of the worst things I've eaten and it was thrown away by both of us...the meat was tough and we couldn't cut it... It's a common misconception that DJ's Foodhall is expensive.

Well,it can be , but if you look hard enough there are bargains to be had . And it costs nothing to window shop! Whenever I am in Sydney for work the David Jones Foodcourt is right across from my offices.. and have a great variety of food! Like any foodhall its busy and full of people but the retailers seem to get through the crowds quickly. On our regular visits to Sydney we often visit the DJs foodhall around brunch or lunchtime. On our visit this morning we had a beautiful late breakfast/brunch at their Espresso bar/cafe - you can sit at the counter or in the cafe part. A very elegant feel - even the man serving reminded us of our recent travels in Europe... A very busy food hall that reminds me of the food markets in Europe and the UK. There is a choice of food types from fresh juice to oysters to sandwiches to a cafe to a an asian food bar. We settled for burgers cooked before us and coffee from the cafe. Both burgers were perfectly cooked. A great refuge in...When your local centre will be open for the Boxing Day sales BOXING Day is the biggest shopping day of the year.
