Dear Prof. Dr. Faustino Bauer,

I'm Davide Lionetti, an IBMAN student currently enrolled in the 7th semester. We met in the summer of 2017 during your course "Management Accounting and Controlling."

I'm reaching out to you as it would be a pleasure for me to have you as my thesis supervisor, given your sympathy, your knowledge and your publications in this field.

In the last 3 semesters, I have gained working experience in the sector by leading the department of online marketing at Linguedo and since August 2018, by bootstrapping a business, Visafy, which aims to innovate the field of consular visas by building a digital platform to serve customers completely online and by the use of the latest technologies and digital tools.

Hence, I would like my thesis to focus on the impact of new technologies and tools (such as social media, cloud computing, AI, and alike) on business management and controlling.

Also, as I remember you mentioning the book "Thinking Fast and Slow" during the course, I would like to analyze how cognitive biases combined with new technologies can affect the performance of the individuals in the business context.

I'd be more than happy to talk with you and expand on these topics and listen to any input/feedback you might have.
