Daniel Colen

🗿🔳Daniel Colen (born 1979, New Jersey) is an artist based in New York.

His work consists of painted sculptures appropriating low-cultural ephemera, graffiti-inspired paintings of text executed in paint, and installations.

Drawing from mass media, local subcultures, and sources such as Walt Disney film stills, he combines the intensity of real life with reflections on the subjects of immanence and belief.
