Senior Data Analytics Operations Engineer

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of data analytics systems, especially ETL/ELT solutions
• Ability to analyze and build ETL/ELT workflows
• Knowledge of Linux OS and containerized infrastructure: monitoring, availability, consistency, security, etc.
• CLI, Linux scripting (Shell, Python), administration skills (3+ yrs)
• Understanding of Java/JVM concepts, ability to read code
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, passion for problem solving and investigation
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Would be a plus:

• Java programming skills
• Experience with Kubernetes
• SQL / NoSQL database knowledge
• Working knowledge of Hadoop components
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Familiarity with various security technologies (Kerberos, LDAP, OAuth 2.0, SAML, x.509, TLS, etc.)
• Prior data analytics operationalization experience is a plus
