My Samsung Galaxy S4 mini is acting up lately and it's feeling uncomfortable to not have a backup solution, so I finally installed Cyanogenmod on the device I brought home from China. The OS is installed, next step will be setting up the system and migrating the apps and accounts and settings.

Flashing the new OS was the scary part. This has the potential of turning your device into a paperweight, or "bricking" it, which almost happened, but I was able to save it.
