🔸Bitcoin shoots up from $8200 to $8500s in less than an hour. 

🔸As of April 20th, Bitcoin soars higher as the European Union Parliament supported a move for cryptocurrency exchanges to be required to apply customer verification rules to their platforms.

🔸In the run-up for the hard fork that will take place in May, Bitcoin Cash price is going up. At press time, this altcoin has already reached the $1000 mark and according to CoinMarketCap, it is being traded at $1,093.39. It means that it has risen to more than 20% over the last 24 hours. 

🔸Russian authorities blocked Telegram because they would not be able to “control” its new cryptocurrency, linking it to the ponzi scheme Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox (MMM), according to a letter by Roman Antipkin, an official with security service the FSB. As a reminder, Telegram has so fair raised around $1.8 billion in the presale stage of its ICO, with the public still unable to purchase TON tokens. Since the ban began, many Russian users can still freely access the messenger, while others can do so with a proxy server or VPN.
