Copywriter

Grindstone Capital is looking for a talented Copywriter who’s ready to harness the power of the written word to take our clients' global brands to the next level.
Your role will be to write blogs, social media posts, website copy and other communications that will enhance the image of Grindstone Capital’s client's global brands. By working closely with the Digital Content Coordinator, your work will help our brands to dominate Google’s search results, become more visible on social media and earn a reputation for trust and expertise.
Here’s what your typical day will look like:
- Writing articles/blogs on a range of topics, including online business, e-commerce, marketing and technology;
- Following the brief given to you by the Digital Content Coordinator, to ensure that your work fulfills our objectives;
- Researching other articles to ensure that yours is the strongest;
- Writing smartly to ensure the greatest possible visibility on Google and social media platforms.
You’ll be equipped with the resources and stats you need to fulfill your responsibility: delivering consistent written content that’s powerful and professional.
Experience
- A university or college degree/diploma in marketing, communications, business, journalism or similar;
- A strong portfolio of written content that demonstrates an ability to write for multiple platforms and take on multiple voices;
- An understanding of modern SEO principles;
- A passion for business, especially e-commerce and other kinds of online business;
- Strong communication skills and an impeccable grasp of the English language;
- An ability to juggle multiple projects with different requirements;
- Superb time management and organization skills;
- A strong sense of responsibility;
- A data-driven mindset.
The following skills would be a great asset:
- WordPress.
Position is 'full-time' hours but on a contractual basis.
