By using a memory foam topper, you're increasing body's distance between your mechanism and innerspring unit in the sleeper sofa effectively making it more comfortable. If you'd like to make your sofa bed even more comfortable, consider replacing the mattress with one of our luxury sofa bed mattresses. Please Note: This is not guaranteed to close into all sofa beds. While it folds into most sofa beds, for some styles on the market, the 2" depth is just too thick. In those scenarios, we'd suggest folding the topper in quarters and storing it in a closet much like you would a blanket.
