adds comfort to a cheap mattress I bought a pair of these for a set of twin beds in my guest bedroom at my beach condo. The mattresses are pretty basic and not very comfortable. I put these toppers on them, usually have them pushed together to make a king, and my guests have been very complimentary as to the mattress' comfort. Definitely an improvement to my guest bedroom. Like sleeping on a cloud Put this on a folding twin bed with a canvas base that was hard and uncomfortable-- this makes it so comfy Love my new mattres topper This topper is amazing! I just love it. Makes a big hole where you sleep and hotter than hell! Just what I wanted and feels great Turned a brick of a bed into one that my boy friend could actually sleep on. He stated that it helped his back pain. Have used it for 2 or 3 years now and the foam is still like new! Why did I wait so long??!! This 4" topper is the best purchase I have made in years. I use it "EGGCRATE SIDE DOWN/SMOOTH SIDE UP--still wonderfully comfy.
Doesn't bottom out, isn't too hot, easy to unwrap and let it stretch out. No bothersome smell at all. All my sheets fit even with this on my pillowtop mattress. I have very painful shoulders and I can now get a decent night's sleep with this topper in place. Much less shoulder pain plus less overall joint pain and stiffness on arising. Even the cat notices the difference! THE PRICE WAS FANTASTIC TOO!! I hesitated to buy this because some of the reviews were not very good. Unwrapped it and left it open for a week before we used it. These type of toppers that are delivered very compressed MUST be left to plump up before you use them. We are extremely pleased with the topper. It is excellent to sleep on and we wake up with no back or leg pain. I would definitely recommend it. It also was shipped and arrived promptly. has lasted for over a year, added some nice cush to our bed. Although this foam feels luxurious when you lay on it, after an entire night it can cause shoulder pain for me.
I sleep mostly on my back and by morning, the mattress topper is shaped like a hotdog bun. I have sunk down into the foam to such a degree that my back/spine is lower than my shoulders and arms. After a couple nights of this, the rounding of my shoulders and back ends up causing chronically sore and achy shoulders. Just in case you might think my weight could cause this, note that I am only 5'4" and weigh 120 lbs. My weight has nothing to do with the sag. I replacing this topper with a 2" thick foam topper last night and can already feel the difference. My husband also likes the 2" much better than the 4" foam. Very happy with this Item, it has made my old matters feel new. excellent, my grandson is getting a much better night's sleep! I am very happy with this mattress topper. It is more than well worth the cost. I would definitely order this item again. Purchased for an extremely hard and lumpy mattress. I personally don't like the soft and squishy feel but this topper is not that.
