Chargers, Cables & Batteries USB Type-C Power Chargers USB Type-C is well on its way to becoming the standard connector for smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs and other high tech gear. There’s a lot to like about about USB-C, including its compact connector that’s also reversible and supports high speed data transfers. But the other big advantage of USB-C is that it can also deliver a lot of power, so manufacturers have also begun to switch to USB charging. That capability has meant a revolution in power adapters, with a new wave of USB Type-C chargers.USB Type-C Wall ChargersWhen you buy a new mobile device, it usually comes with a power charger. Constantly plugging and unplugging that one charger from wall outlets as you move around your home or office is inconvenient. Instead, pick up a few USB Type-C wall chargers. They’re compact, inexpensive and universal—you don’t have to worry about matching a charger brand to smartphone manufacturer, so long as the device charges using a USB-C port.

Having several USB-C chargers strategically placed means you can easily plug in for extended calls or web surfing sessions without worrying about your battery running out, and without having to remember to carry a power charger with you.USB Type-C Power BanksThe worst time to run into battery life issues with your smartphone or tablet is also the most likely to happen: when you’re on the go and away from available electrical outlets.USB Type-C power banks are an excellent solution to this problem. They range in size and capacity, but all are portable enough to take with you. Some pack high capacity batteries that can charge multiple USB-C devices simultaneously, and even fully charge a smartphone several time over. These are great for travel or camping, when electrical outlets are often few and far between. You can also find tiny USB Type-C power banks that are the size of a lipstick, but despite their ultra-portability, still pack the power to give you hours of extra smartphone talk time in a pinch.

USB Type-C Car ChargersTravelling by car can be tough on your smartphone or tablet battery. Many people use their mobile devices for entertainment on extended road trips. They also do double-duty in the navigation department. Keep a USB Type-C car charger in your vehicle and you’ll never have to worry about your USB Type-C compatible mobile device running out of power while you’re on the road. Cons No full time position available. No full time position available. No full time position available. 2 Nov, 2016 Helpful (1) Pros Working at Loblaw distribution center is fun. They have flexible work hours especially for student seeking part time job. Their pay is fair enough Cons Some of the downsides working at Loblaw as a student is the means of transportation to and fro. Their available transportation are meant for only day shifts.

Also, part time schedule are restricted to day and evening shifts. Their night shift is only meant for full time workers. 20 Sep, 2016 I worked at Loblaw part-time (More than 3 years) Pros - flexible hours can allow you to work days or nights depending on your schedule- good breaks, at the cost of paying union fees you're guaranteed breaks along with other benefits- relaxed environment that with understanding staff and managers Cons - minimum pay with no possibility of increase beyond the required 5 cent increase every 300 hours- moved from giving full-time hours to mostly 35 tops and simply hiring more workers Is this helpful? Employee discount for any merchandise in a store. Cons Very competitive to get in a full time position. Part timers don't get a full benefit. 21 May, 2016 I worked at Loblaw full-time (More than 5 years) Pros Good Vacation, benefits, pay good compared to other LP jobs Cons Managers are entering and leaving the business very frequently.

The ones that stay aren't the sharpest. Pay and pay raises are relatively low for a full-time job. There is some room for advancement but its not the greatest 20 May, 2016 I have been working at Loblaw part-time (Less than a year) Pros - Indoors- Friendly staff- Clean- Many positions you can do- great for high school kids, college students and retirees- union, seniority- raise every 521 hours Cons - hire part time- takes forever to move on up- not enough hours- min wage to start $10.45- Max out around $15 hour today- No longer max at $24 hour like years past- management trying to get rid of senior employees making $24 hour specialists- to get full time takes about 10+ years Advice to Management You are very similar to Walmart. Part time, min wage, no benefits, minimal hours, so you will always have a very high turn around rate, just like Walmart. You should offer up to $13 hour to start like a lot of retail now does. You should offer full time to those who want it with benefits. No union should be needed.

I've seen more job posting with Super Store compared to Walmart.....and that speaks for itself. 5 May, 2016 I have been working at Loblaw part-time (More than 3 years) Pros Relatively decent hoursEasy work( usually) Cons -Annoying managers-Unionized-Hour cuts occur during certain periods of the year-Relatively boring job-They don't want you to be full time. They'll give you fulltime hours but keep you as a part time worker so that they don't have to give you any benefits but can benefit themselves off of your labour. Advice to Management Focus more on implementing policies than creating ones that don't go anywhere. There lots of stupid things we have to do that just waste money. 29 Feb, 2016 Pros Mats provided to stand on while working as a cashier. It is flexible to move from part-time to full time if need be. Cons Do not expect a salary raise, not enough hours scheduled. Very difficult to change shifts as management does not want to give senior cashier staff more hours, in an effort to save money.

Advice to Management Provide chairs at cashier stand for employees. Management is provided with chairs and not expected to be standing for 8 hours straight. It would be common decency to provide chairs for cashiers to sit when there are not as many customers. 3 Feb, 2016 Helpful (1) I have been working at Loblaw part-time (More than 3 years) Pros There are absolutely none for working at the store level. After 6 months you get a 10% employee discount card but you'll only be using it to buy some things on the front page of the flyer considering the low wages and few hours (8-16) they offer part time employees. Oh there's also an employee Christmas dinner and summer BBQ if you want to awkwardly sit around with supervisors and managers pretending everything is fine and dandy. Cons Here's what happened at my location and from what I've heard many others as well. They remodeled the entire store and during the construction they hired 8 additional employees for the same position. After the grand opening they cut hours from 32-40 down to 8-16.

Even for those of us who had been working there for 2+ years prior and had steady 32-40 hours work per week. All this company does is use people and doesn't care about their employees. You are disposable and there to be treated like a slave. There are so few people scheduled that we seldom get all the work done that is required. Then they tell us it's our fault for not working fast enough. Corporate cut the hours - it's NOT our fault so don't verbally abuse us and crack your whip every time we are falling behind. Bring back the hours or don't complain.I suspect another reason for this is to make the company look better ie. they appear to employ a huge number of people for the country however they neglect to reveal just how much work they are giving us. Not nearly enough hours to live on!They boast that they offer benefits for part time employees but they don't give you enough hours to be eligible for them!! This is a very shady company and I advice you to avoid Loblaw at all costs. You will need two or three other part time jobs to make ends meet.
