Hallmark’s ELITE MODERN Collection of doors are fitted with WINKHAUS multi-point lock mechanisms. Depending on individual needs, customers can choose from the available lock options shown below. WINKHAUS TRULOCK multi-point locking systems are fitted to all Elite Modern Collection doors as standard. Superbly engineered, the Trulock mechanism is approved by the Secured by Design Police initiative. Manufactured to meet the requirements of a modern door design, the Trulock delivers enhanced performance using low friction hook thrust plates for a smooth, precise operation. The WINKHAUS HERITAGE multi-point locking system has a slam-shut operation whereby the lock keep will automatically engage once the door is closed. A key is then required to gain entry from the outside.
The key cylinder is positioned 3/4 of the way up the door - similar to traditional period doors. From the outside the lock is key operated with a chrome or gold ring pull plate and from the inside by a thumb-turn (or key if used with an internal handle to aid door opening). Hallmark inward opening composite doors are fitted with anti-lift, security pin 3D adjustable hinges. The hinge design prevents intruders from removing the holding pin and lifting out the door. 3D adjustable hinges can be adjusted on site using an allen key. Open out composite doors are NOT weather or security tested. Butt hinges are fitted to open out doors therefore installation as an external door is not recommended. Used with the S-Series Bar Handles, the key-wind lock has the cylinder positioned at mid-rail height. The lock is operated from the outside with a key-wind operation and from the inside with a key-wind or thumb-turn operation. The Entry Guard is an upgrade option to the Lever/Lever Trulock.
This integral guard bar offers a higher security level compared to a traditional door chain. Door designs are enhanced through a vibrant and distinctive range of crisp, clean line sandblasted glass designs and from a selection of stunning 3 dimensional textured fusion glass tile designs.
