I have a friend who is a long distance truck driver, so I don’t get to see him very often.
However, when I do he is always complaining that his back hurts and blames it on the sleeping arrangements. At first, I asked why he didn’t make use of the many motels he must come across on his travels, but he is self-employed and spending money on a room for the night doesn’t exactly help is profits. Instead, he makes use of various truck stops he knows well and prefers to sleep in his cab. He does have a space he can crawl into after a long day on the road, but it’s not the most comfortable (obviously, since every-time I see him he walks like someone who suffers from arthritis)! On one particular afternoon at my house we were talking about his sleeping troubles, and I suddenly remembered that we sell the Coleman Quickbed at my store. This came to mind because it’s one of the cheaper air mattresses on the market, so my friend would have no trouble being able to afford one. Plus, it’s really easy to store away when it’s not being used. I proceeded to tell him what benefits he can expect from this bed (apart from taking all those aches and pains away).
Here’s what I told him: Coleman has included a coil system within this airbed so it helps give you the support your body needs when you’re sleeping. It also has a plush top which adds to overall comfort. Many people complain that airbeds are notorious for leaking when they’re in use, and the manufacturer has thought about this. Whilst the inflating system will require an external pump, they have included a double lock valve which helps to stop leaks. It’s also made of puncture resistant high grade PVC so you won’t end up looking for where that annoying hissing is coming from as you watch your bed slowly deflate before your eyes! Deflating isn’t difficult to do, and Coleman has kept people who are on the road in mind by including an attached “wrap and roll” system. This means it’s not only useful for people like my friend, but for anyone who is travelling and needs to have a bed with them. Available in twin, queen and king sizes this air mattress will suit people who sleep alone or as a couple.
You also won’t have any trouble finding sheets to fit over the top because it has been designed to take all standard sizes. If you’re looking for an air bed that won’t break the bank, this model is definitely worth a look. Although there have been complaints it does leak air, this is usually down to the fact that it’s used constantly over a long period of time. After all, it’s an air mattress and if you intend to use it night after night without deflating it, it will need topping up!
