It was cheaper than Walmart and prime which is my addiction so it made it a good buy for me. I also had purchased the Coleman 4D CPX 6 Portable Energy Pack at the same time and out of the box it was very clear that the pump was an inferior product in comparison in build quality. The pump feels cheap and looking at it the components it has to be a very profitable item for them.
It was hard to grasp they were both Coleman products sitting side by side. Now down to performance, once we got our tent up I started setting up and I found the biggest problem with this product. It worked great but then seemed to overheat and stopped working before it could finish our queen sized mattress. It started to work again after I let it cool but it seems a poor design that the moved air is not used to cool the motor which is open in the case with the batteries.
