They'll either be 1 King bed or 2 queen beds. By "twin" I am assuming you mean two beds. Your daughter should avoid being given a king bed by requesting two beds at check-in and advise them that another guest will be joining her. Rooms are quoted at double occupancy so there will be no additional charge. The number of beds in a room is considered a request, which Mirage will try and accomodate but will not guarantee. You honestly won't know until you get there if any rooms with 2 beds are avaialable. And adding her name to the reservation won't make any difference. But it doesn't cost any extra so you should add her name anyway when you check in. What if they were seperated and her friend lost her key? Security could not let her in the room unless she is a registered guest. Are you travelling with them? If you have booked their rooms using your credit card, just be aware that when checking in they usually require the credit card used to book the room to be shown.

You should request a room with two beds now, don't wait until you check in. It is a request, but I think you should be on record as to the type of room you want up front. You can also give the names for the room now when you make the reservation. I would include the request in the reservation, but I wouldn't worry too much. Most girls don't have trouble sharing a king bed if they have to. Guys seem to have more of a problem with it... The rooms have either 1 king or 2 queens. Call and note the request with the front desk. IF there are only two people on the ledger then it is highly likely they will receive 1 king bed (however you can pay locally for a rollaway $35 per night). If there are 3 or more people on the ledger, these rooms are given preference for 2 queens first...however the hotel can give them 1 king and a rollaway (no charge for rollaway).
