눇We love the overall atmosphere at this hotel. It is a great place for a romantic get away or also a great place for a family. Has an awesome pool area, and bands at night that are alot of fun! 눉Some of the waiter at lower restaurant was a little sobbie.눇The band was good 눉The pricing at the 360 grille was very high for what you got. The restaurant did not rotate due to mechanical issues. The indoor hot tub was cold as ice, but the outside one was very nice. Too many children for our taste, especially on the weekend before Valentines day.눇The room was very spacious with high ceilings. It had a small balcony overlooking the pool area. The bathroom was very nice with a very good shower. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We will return often and try the golf course out next time. 눇The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I could not have asked for a better experience. My wife and I had a nice and relaxing weekend. 눉Need more insulation in walls near lounge.
Staff eager to help at hotel. 눇Mattress was a little hard for me,but I like a softer, memory foam mattress. Overall the bed was comfortable. 눉no complaints!눇Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and a balcony with views of the river. 눉There is not anything I didn't like.눇Everything was wonderful but the bellman was really oitstanding. 눉They brought my son in a roll away bed that was completely worn out. Had to call front desk late at night because I couldn't get air to work. Didn't really care for the shower head.눇Location 눉Pillows were not firm enough. I have neck & back problems & I the pillows were to soft & very uncomfortable. Usually travel with my own pillow but forgot it this trip & also I requested a King bed & was given 2 queen beds.눇Liked the location. 눉Upsetting experience with mgr. of hotel restaurant while attempting to dine with my daughter. I was not allowed to have dinner with her there unless she chose to throw away her $6 sandwich from Jimmy Johns.
It was explained to me that it is against the law and no outside food is allowed in re: health code. I do not know food services law but in my past experiences traveling to various hotels with soccer teams outside food has most certainly been allowed. In fact, we have enjoyed team pizza parties around hotel pools or in the common bar/breakfast areas. The manager was defiant and belligerent, unwilling to compromise considering I wanted to have drinks and dinner and my daughter wanted to order dessert. The thermostat in our room never worked properly after a call to the front desk and attempt to adjust. 눉The Desk Staff were unfriendly. I would like to have gone to the Spa but they were standoffish.
