LEGOLAND® Windsor - Your Guide to Visiting Popular Theme Park just Outside Windsor - Opening Hours, Discounted Tickets, Hotels, How to get There and Private Transfers LEGOLAND is situated a couple of miles west of Windsor Town on the edge of Windsor Great Park. LEGOLAND Windsor opened in 1996 on the former site of Windsor Safari Park and has gradually grown into what it is today, one of the most popular theme parks around London. The theme park is aimed at younger kids between 3 and 12. Each year new rides and attractions are added. There are over 55 amazing interactive rides, attractions and live shows for the whole family. Set in 150 acres of parkland, it is a fun day for children aged 3-12 and their families. Age, height and weight restrictions apply on some rides. Young and old alike will be fascinated by the incredible LEGO models throughout the park. From comical camels to fearsome fire-breathing dragons, world landmarks to musical pirates, it's amazing what can be built with LEGO bricks - nearly 55 million of them!




LEGOLAND® Windsor Opening Hours The park is not open all year, the season lasts from about early March until the end of October, with a special seasonal opening in December (weekends only and the week before Christmas). Opening time is 10:00 a.m. with closing time dependant on the time of year and day of the week, between 17:00 and 20:00 p.m. LEGOLAND® Tickets - and Discounts LEGOLAND is run by Merlin and there are various passes you can purchase for the entire year or for multiple attractions, that will save you money. You will get access to around 55 rides, plus entrance to the LEGO 4D Movie Theatre and the Harbour Show as well as the Miniland Model Displays themselves.




DUPLO® Valley is a splash area with mutiple slides and water jets for the kids to have free play in. In addition children aged 6-13 can have their own driving adventures with The LEGO City Driving School; a driving track for electric cars complete with roundabouts and traffic lights. A popular new ride is the world-first Atlantis Submarine Voyage - a magical underwater adventure, in the search for the ancient ruins of the Atlantis. There is an Imagination Centre featuring a Discovery Zone and much more. A couple of rides, such as the Remote Control Boats and the Climbing Wall carry an extra charge. LEGOLAND Resort Hotel Windsor If you wish to make your time at LEGOLAND longer than one day, or are coming from further afield, LEGOLAND Windsor has its own Lego-themed Resort Hotel for you to stay in, complete with nightly entertainment and its own swimming pool. From July 2017 (and taking bookings now) you can stay in the new LEGOLAND Castle Hotel, a LEGO hotel in medieval style complete with wizard and knight theme.

Food Choices at LEGOLAND® Windsor There are plenty of food options when visiting LEGOLAND, Windsor, from ice-cream parlours dotted around the park, to mutiple cafe's, a Burger Kitchen, Baguette Bar, Lego City BBQ, Knights Table Rotisserie and more. If you wish to bring your own food there is an onsite picnic area where you can sit. This can get full in summer months, so you may wish to be flexible in where you eat. Food at all the restaurants is aimed to be nutritionally balanced. For motorists LEGOLAND is quite easy, just get off at the Windsor turn off, junction 6 of the M4 or junction 3 of the M3. At popular times the approaches to LEGOLAND can be very congested if you come off the M4 option, so expect a tedious last couple of miles. Do note, there is a parking charge at LEGOLAND once you are there. This can be purchased from the Ticket Booths or Guest Services at any time during your day. By public transport there is a LEGOLAND bus that shuttles during opening hours between LEGOLAND and the two Windsor railway stations and Windsor Castle. This shuttle service is operated by the local bus company, not LEGOLAND® and there is a charge. There is also a Green Line LEGOLAND bus service that starts at London Victoria and goes direct to LEGOLAND Windsor via Windsor, frequencies are around hourly.
