With this in mind, I build my rocking chairs with exceptional lumbar support, sculpted seats, headrests and arms, all of which are sanded to a glass-like finish to cradle your body as though it were made just for the rocking chair instead of the reverse. Not only has Sam helped change the perception and attitudes of consumers all over the world, but he has been instrumental in bringing the craft of woodworking to new levels.LOTUS (LOW MEDIUM HIGH) Lotus is a complete collection of seats composed of low, medium and high armchairs, with or without armrests, with four or five legs, with or without wheels and a rocking movement with variable heights. Lotus fits easily into a home décor or in a variety of work situations thanks to the many ways its seat can be customized with different covers and sizes, as wellas the color variants for the swiveling base and the armrests: chrome plated aluminum and opaque dark brown, mud and white paint.
The Lotus collection was tested at the Quality Certification Institute in October 2006 according to ANSI/BIFMA X5.1-2002 standards Cl. 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 11.4, 13, 14, 15, 20. All the tests, relating to static and dynamic strength, were passed without any faults being found.Lotus High cannot be covered with Steelcut Trio fabric. Immediately following, he began his lasting and valuable collaboration with Cappellini. Nowadays he works in London and Paris for high-level companies such as Alessi, Flos, Rowenta, Sony and Samsung.
